About the Jon Robert Shaps Autograph Collection
Note that this item and 56 others were consigned to us by the brother of Jon Robert Shaps, a celebrity photographer in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a truly remarkable collection of signed items! We have created a webpage explaining who Jon Robert Shaps was and how he acquired this collection, and we urge you to view that page at this link. The page also has images of Mr. Shaps with 29 celebrities he photographed, and also an image of an appraisal of these items done in 1991, after Mr. Shaps' untimely passing. The phrase "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" is certainly overused, but it seems to be very appropriate in the case of the auction of these 57 items!

Condition: good. There was 2" of separation at the left end of the middle foldline with a 4" vertical tear running above that. There were other tears and some areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster and someone repaired several of them with tape from the front or back. In spite of these defects, the poster displays pretty well just as it is!
