No. 8") from 1924 advertising that "This theater plays First National Pictures". The poster advertises Trilby, the 1923 James Young Paris France silent evil-hypnotist-turns-simple-girl-into-great-singer melodrama starring Andree Lafayette (in the title role as Trilby; from the novel by George L. Du Maurier), Creighton Hale, Arthur Edmund Carewe (as Svengali), Philo McCullough, and Francis McDonald (as Gecko).
