An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More)

Massacre, the 1934 Alan Crosland Native American Indian racial prejudice melodrama ("Every blazing scene torn from the bleeding hearts of a million vanishing Americans!"; about a Native American Indian, Joe Thunderhorse, the son of a Sioux chief, who has gone to college and married a white socialite, but he returns to his reservation and sees how terribly his people are treated, and he leaves his white girlfriend for a Native girl from the reservation, and he goes to Washington to try to get better treatment for his people; this was very loosely based on the real life story of John Collier, who was the head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in FDR's first term, and who made great efforts to improve the treatment of Native American Indians) starring Richard Barthelmess (as Joe Thunderhorse), Ann Dvorak, Dudley Digges, Claire Dodd, Sidney Toler, and Tully Marshall. Note that film historian William K. Everson often mentioned this movie for a scene where black African American Clarence Muse looks down on Native American Indians as being his inferiors!
