An Undated (probably 1920s or early 1930s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 6" x 18") (Learn More)

Damaged Goods, the 1914 Tom Ricketts silent pseudo-documentary venereal disease melodrama ("World's most astounding drama"; "Whose Guilty wife or husband?"; "250,000 innocent women and babies die yearly through ignorance"; based on the play by Eugene Brieux) starring Richard Bennett, Adrienne Morrison, Maud Milton, Olive Templeton, and Josephine Ditt. Note that this movie was shown for years after its initial release in local theaters throughout the country, and there is no way of knowing when this herald is from. The dates on the herald correspond to 1921, 1927, and 1932, and they do not correlate to 1914, so it is likely from one of those three years, but all of the information on the herald is likely from the first release of the movie in 1914. In 1937, a modern version of this movie was made, so we think that at that time, the earlier silent version would have no longer been shown. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note this herald was folded in half at one time as was originally intended.
