Alice's Restaurant, the 1969 Arthur Penn (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this movie) New York musical comedy ("Arlo Arlove Apple Pie"; "now you can SEE anything you want at 'Alice's Restaurant' where the heads of all nations meet"; based on the classic hit folk song, "The Alice's Restaurant Massacree" [sic]; a take-off on the most famous line from the song) starring Arlo Guthrie (who sang the original song), Patricia Quinn (billed as "Pat Quinn"; in the title role as Alice), James Broderick, Michael McClanathan, Geoff Outlaw, Tina Chen, Kathleen Dabney, and William Obanhein (billed as "Police Chief William Obanhein", who was the famous "Officer Obie" from the song), and Pete Seeger & Lee Hays (billed jointly as "Special Appearance Pete Seeger and Lee Hays")

Important Added Info: When this film was first released in 1969, it was rated R by the MPAA. As has happened to other movies (such as Saturday Night Fever), the studio edited the film to receive a lower rating, and released new posters with a GP rating in 1970. The poster offered here is from the 1969 R-rated version of the film.

Condition: very good. There are minor creases in the foldlines. There is minor separation at the top and bottom crossfolds. There are a few pairs of staple holes in the top tagline area. There is a pair of staple holes in the lower right of the image background.
