Bucquet hospital medical doctor crime murder mystery thriller ("A NEW chapter in America's best-loved series!") starring Lionel Barrymore (in the title role as Dr. Leonard Gillespie), Philip Dorn, Donna Reed, Phil Brown, Nat Pendleton, Alma Kruger, and Mary Nash. Note that the Dr. Kildare movies were made between 1938 and 1947, but that Lew Ayres left the series in 1942, and six more films were made WITHOUT Dr. Kildare, but WITH Dr. Gillespie (played as always by Lionel Barrymore), who became top billed in those six movies, and of course, they could not be official "Dr. Kildare movies", because the lead character was no longer at the hospital. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears, creases, and areas of paper loss along parts of the vertical fold, with some on the horizontal folds, and some in the edges of the borders. It had some smudges and darkening in the light background areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
