An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Key Book 7 3/4" x 10" Still (Learn More) Wolf Song, the 1929 Victor Fleming romantic cowboy western (Cooper is a fur trapper who has great success with women, but then he falls hard for beautiful Mexican Lupe Velez, and her father disapproves, and he goes off with her, abandoning her for a while to be with his fur trapper pals, but then he returns in the nick of time to rescue her from an Indian leader!) starring Gary Cooper, Lupe Velez, Louis Wolheim, Constantine Romanoff, and Michael Vavitch. Note that Cooper was notorious for having affairs with almost all of his female co-stars in his early movies, and he had a particularly notorious affair with Velez during the making of this movie! An odd bit of trivia is that the movie contained a very brief full-frontal nude shot of Gary Cooper that was quite controversial at the time! Also note that this movie was silent, but by the time it was released, "talking" movies were all the craze, so three songs were added to the movie (two sung by Velez, and one sung by Russ Columbo), so that Paramount could advertise the movie as being "sound".
