West of Dodge City there is no God!!"; about a cowboy who helps clean up a town sometimes run by outlaws, and his romancing of a "good" girl and a "bad" dance hall girl) starring Errol Flynn, Olivia De Havilland, Ann Sheridan, Alan Hale Sr., Frank McHugh, Bruce Cabot, John Litel, Henry Travers, Victor Jory, William Lundigan, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, Ward Bond, and Monte Blue NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (it means that the poster must be handled carefully, as the backing does not give it much added strength, but it is similar to having an unrestored poster, and yet it has been properly preserved). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards. Condition: good. The poster had a square section come out of the left and right of the top excess border, approximately 4" x 4" (affecting the "TI" of "TIVOLI" at left, and blank paper on the right). There were many smudges and stains scattered throughout the poster, and some tiny areas of paper loss. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to paperbacking. Given the extent of the poster's defects, the restorer did a pretty nice job (they overpainted a lot of the title and blue background areas, but only did slight restoration to the image). The poster displays fairly well, but you can clearly tell that it had many defects scattered through the image (the only alternative would have been to paint over almost the entire image, and I much prefer less restoration and being able to tell that it is authentic). Note that the person who performed the restoration mounted it onto a very thick board backing prior to performing restoration. Learn More about condition grades
