Plein Soleil (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "Purple Noon"), the 1960 Rene Clement French/Italian romantic love triangle crime suspense thriller ("Was there ever a stranger friend? A more Designing, insolent lover? A story more diabolique?"; "Passion at ten. Envy at eleven. Murder at noon."; based on the novel 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' by Patricia Highsmith; about a social climbing handsome young man who befriends a rich young man who is squandering his father's money and has a beautiful girlfriend, and the first man decides to kill the second so he can assume his life!) starring Alain Delon, Marie Laforet, Maurice Ronet, Elvire Popesco, Erno Crisa, and Frank Latimore. Note that this movie was remade in 1999 using the original title of the novel, starring Matt Damon and Jude Law.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Also note that this Italian six-panel poster was printed in 6 sections (designed to overlap) and when combined, the poster measures approximately 78" x 165" and is folded.

Condition: very good. The poster has some separation and tiny tears on parts of many foldlines, but overall, given the size of the poster, it has probably survived in about as good condition as anyone could have hoped!
