An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Twenty-Four-Sheet Movie Poster (24sh; measures approximately 9' x 20') (Learn More) Return of the Jedi (now known as "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi"), the classic 1983 Richard Marquand outer space science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure epic sequel ("Return to a galaxy far, far away!"; "The Saga Continues"; "The movie everyone's been waiting for!"; written and produced by George Lucas) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse (as the man in the Darth Vader suit), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Frank Oz (as the voice of Yoda), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), and Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Kazuhiko Sano Important Added Info: Note that in March of 2017, we auctioned an example of this poster, and that poster auctioned for $8,320! We auctioned a second example in December of 2017, and it sold for $6,750. Now, the person who purchased the poster in December of 2017 has reconsigned it to us, so it is still only one of two examples of this poster we have ever auctioned (and of course, it is likely one of the absolute most rare Star Wars posters there is, given this poster's very large size and given that likely a low number of them were made in the first place, and any that were put up on walls surely did not come down! The fact that two examples of this 24-sheet survive (as we said above, we previously auctioned two, but this is one of those two) is nothing short of amazing! Also note that this poster needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 17" x 23" x 3", so it will cost more to send than items that fit in our standard flat packages, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was printed in just 6 sections (see above). This means that it has far fewer folds than older 24-sheets, which were printed in 12 sections (or 24 sections for really older 24-sheets). The poster almost surely was never used, and it is in REALLY nice condition, with just some very minor wear (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
