Action!!") featuring Rocky Marciano ("Brockton's mighty blockbuster. Undefeated world champion") and Ezzard Charles ("The challenger from Cincinnati. Former world heavyweight champion"). Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this is one of a collection of 6 one-sheets from film versions of professional boxing matches! In the days before such events moved to network television, top boxing matches would be filmed at ringside and then shown later in movie theaters, complete with commentary. Such posters are far more rare than posters from movies. Our consignor collected these six over many years, and they are being offered in 6 separate auctions. This is a rare opportunity to acquire any or all of these 6 posters! Condition: good to very good. Some portions of the poster are slightly rippled, and there are pairs of staple holes around the edges and scattered vertically at left and right, and some of the pairs of staple holes are surrounded by a small amount of discoloration (see our image). There are a few small tears around the edges and in portions of the upper horizontal fold and there are some creases and small tears at the center crossfold.
