A Vintage Autographed Hardcover Book (measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm]; 300 pages) (Learn More) Dark City Dames: The Wicked Women of Film Noir, the 2001 Eddie Muller ("Author of Dark City: The Lost World of Film Noir") biographical book containing a collection of stories from female stars of past noir films, including: Coleen Gray, Jane Greer, Evelyn Keyes, Ann Savage, Audrey Totter, and Marie Windsor Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by FIVE people: Coleen Gray, Evelyn Keyes, Ann Savage, Audrey Totter and author Eddie Muller! Note that Evelyn Keyes also took the time to sign the poster that is pictured on the back of the dust jacket! Note that this item was consigned to us by an individual who owned a company that made movies and videos with famous celebrities in the 1980s and 1990s. The owner of the company would have the celebrities sign items from their famous films, and sometimes he would find second or third celebrities to autograph an item he already had gotten signed! In addition, he would ask celebrities he came in contact with if they had signed items from other stars that they would sell to him, and he purchased a number of items that way. He also would purchase unsigned items from the famed Larry Edmunds Bookshop in Los Angeles (to have the celebrities sign), and while he was doing that he would also purchase some of their signed items. So all of the items we have been consigned from this consignor were either obtained in person, obtained from celebrities who obtained them in person, or obtained from the Larry Edmunds Bookshop, and we feel certain that the autograph on this item is authentic! We have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. UPDATED 11/13/2012: Note that the auction title initially listed seven autographs when there are actually five. Also, Jane Greer did not sign this book as we initially listed but the author Eddie Muller did! We have updated the auction accordingly. Condition: very good to fine.
