In a two-gun blazing fury to right a badman's wrong!"; "Gun blazing action... fist-swinging justice"; "Based on characters created by Clarence E. Mulford") starring William Boyd ("as Hopalong Cassidy"), Andy Clyde, Rand Brooks, Jane Randolph, and Steve Barclay NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Hopalong Cassidy movies were re-released in Mexico in the 1950s and they were given new titles. We have been told that this poster is from a re-release of "Fool's Gold", but we can't say for certain. We have seen other 1950s Mexican Hopalong Cassidy posters that have different names from that of the original release of the movie. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was tri-folded only and had small paper loss at the center of each horizontal fold, with some creases and a few tiny tears in the rest of the foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now minor creases in the bottom border (solely in the excess linen, and not in the poster itself).
