An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

Love Bound, the 1932 Robert F. Hill (billed as "Robert Hill") cruise ship romantic love triangle blackmail melodrama (about a married man who gets involved with a gold digger, and she successfully sues him for "breach of affection", and it would ruin him to pay, so his adult son gets the wacky idea to go on a cruise ship with the woman and his chauffeur, and have the chauffeur pose as a wealthy playboy, so she will try to seduce him too, and the son can expose her and saves his father's fortune and family; complications ensue, including a near murder) starring Natalie Moorhead, Jack Mullhall, Edmund Breese, Montagu Love, Roy D'Arcy, Tom Ricketts (billed as "Tom Richards"), Clara Kimball Young, Alice Day, William V. Mong, Richard Alexander, and Lynton Brent. Note that this movie was re-released under the incredibly misleading title of "Murder on the High Seas", which is especially ironic, since nobody gets murdered in the movie!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1932 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned one example of this six-sheet (16 years ago!) and one example of the one-sheet (17 years ago!).

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Note that this poster ships in a very long tube (at least 33" long, but possibly 50" long or more). Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
