An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) The Cracked Ice-Man (all sources we have found list this as "The Cracked Iceman", but the poster clearly has a hyphen in "Ice-Man"), the 1934 Charles Parrott & Eddie Dunn school teaching teacher comedy short (produced by Hal Roach; Charley becomes a kindergarten teacher to a group of rowdy kids) starring Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts, Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts), Billy Gilbert, Betty Mack, Harry Bowen, Florence Roberts, Harry Bernard, George 'Spanky' McFarland, Tommy Bond, and Matthew 'Stymie' Beard. Note that the kids in this Hal Roach short were played by Our Gang members (of course, the Our Gang shorts were also produced by Hal Roach). Also note that the one-sheet poster for this movie shows a great colorful image of Charley Chase in dress clothes sitting with a pretty woman on a gigantic block of ice, which seems to relate to the title, but does not relate to the plot summary we have found for this movie. If anyone has seen the movie and can tell us whether our plot summary is correct, and how the image from the poster relates to the movie itself, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
