Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet (27" x 41") (Learn More)

Strip Strip Hooray, the undated (probably late 1950s) sexploitation burlesque stripper compilation ("BURLESQUE! Adult Fun!"; "Fast.. Spicy!"; "Something new in entertainment!"; "Big Time Burlesque on the screen"; "It's those tantalizing girls you meet only in your dreams"; "Gorgeous Girls Great Comedians Glamorous Dancers!") featuring Tempest Storm, Blaza Glory, Charles Crafts, Leon DeVole, and George 'Beetlepuss' Lewis. This is the ultimate in low budget sexploitation movies of the 1950s. It solely consists of clips from stripper movies from between 1948 and 1957, but it makes no pretense to be a documentary, and in fact just has one clip after another with no transition whatsoever! The company that has re-issued many movies such as this, Something Weird Video, has issued this on DVD, and they have identified the contents of the movie (where the clips came from) on their website. Certainly, the poster makes this movie seem far better than it actually was, and it has many excellent taglines! Finally, note that the IMDb lists this movie as being from 1950, but this is clearly wrong! If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also, note that the IMDb says that the 1932 nudist film, "Let's Go Naked" was also released under the title of "Strip! Strip! Hooray!!! or (Fun with the Sunbathers)". We can't confirm if this is accurate, but if it is, that 1932 movie has nothing to do with this film, other than the possible similar title.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster came from a collection of expliotation posters from the 1920s to 1970s, including sexpliotation films, strip-tease films, and films with all-black casts. Such posters are far more rare than mainstream posters of the same years! This is because such films only played in a very limited number of theaters. Few posters were made and very few survive (especially from films from before 1970).

Condition: very good. There are several 1" and smaller tears in the top and bottom blank border. There is a small piece off the top left corner. The poster was folded too quickly after printing resulting in minor ink transfer from the top to the bottom and visa versa (mostly only visible in the blank white areas).
