An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Face at the Window, the 1939 (released in the U.S. in 1940) George King English France horror crime thriller (from the story by Brooke Warren; about a famous detective who has a brutish deranged half-brother, and he keeps him locked in his basement, and he promised his mother he would always take care of the brother, but then there is a series of murders committed by a wolf man-like person known as "The Face at the Window", because that is all that is seen of him except by those he killed, and the detective pins the blame for the murders on an innocent man to protect his brother) starring Tod Slaughter, Marjorie Taylor, John Warwick, Leonard Henry, Aubrey Mallalieu, and Harry Terry (in the title role as "The Face at the Window"). Note that there are real similarities between the character in this movie and the Wolf Man, which was made by Universal two years after this (but of course, this movie borrows from the 1935 movie "Werewolf of London"!). Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the top left blank corner and some smudges in the upper right of the card.
