Condition: good to very good. The poster had a 1" x 2" irregular area of paper loss at the top crossfold, but it was fortunately solely in the background area. There was small irregular paper loss at the middle crossfold and two 1/4" x 1/2" areas of paper loss between the middle crossfold and the bottom of the credits. There was an irregular area of paper loss approximately 1 1/2" x 2" at the bottom crossfold, entering into the hair of both the man and woman. There were tears and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster, some just entering the edges of the image. There were creases and tears across the bottom foldline. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking, but none of the defects were in Karloff's image. The poster was extremely well backed, and you really can barely see the restoration that was performed. The poster displays great, and I would think most collectors would be quite happy to display it on their wall!
