Der Hauptmann von Kopenick (released in the U.S. as "The Captain from Kopenick"), the 1931 Richard Oswald German comedy ( about a real life 1906 incident where a petty thief in Germany wanted to travel to his home town, but he couldn't get the visa necessary, so he came up with the wild idea of impersonating the German official who could grant the visa, so that he could "give one to himself"!; but the story got stranger when he still couldn't get the visa, but the people in the town gave him a lot of money to take to Germany with him!; he was arrested and put on trial, but the whole matter made Germany look ridiculous, and he was let off with a light sentence) starring Max Adalbert, Ernst Dernburg, Willi Schur, Paul Wagner, Hermann Vallentin, and Emil Wabschke
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: This Danish poster measures 25" x 35 1/2" and is linenbacked. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was folded and had creases, tears, and smudges along the foldlines and creases, tears, and pinholes around the edges. The poster was well linenbacked, and looks quite nice!

Condition: very good.
