An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 8" x 11" [20 x 28 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) All That Money Can Buy, the classic 1941 William Dieterle fantasy horror melodrama ("Based on the Story 'The Devil and Daniel Webster' by Stephen Vincent Benet"; "Daniel & the Devil"; about a man in colonial New England who sells his soul to the Devil, and the legendary politician Daniel Webster shows up to win his soul back!) starring Edward Arnold (as Daniel Webster), Walter Huston (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as "Mr. Scratch" the Devil), Jane Darwell, Simone Simon, James Craig (as Jabez Stone), Gene Lockhart, John Qualen (as Miser Stevens), and Anne Shirley (as Mary Stone). James Craig and Anne Shirley have by far the most screen time of any actors in this movie, but because of their relatively far lower prominence at that time, RKO placed them both extremely low in the billing for the movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the snipe on this still refers to this movie as "The Devil & Daniel Webster", which was the name of the source novel. We believe that this was the working title for this movie, but that it was never actually theatrically released under that title (at least not in 1941). If anyone can show us otherwise, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Condition: good. The still has discolored unevenly because of the snipe on the back (see our images). It is not that distracting. Learn More about condition grades
