A Linenbacked French Magazine Cover (measures 6 3/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm]) (Learn More)

La Science et la Vie (literally translates to "Science and Life", later changing to "Science & Vie" and published in Italy as "Scienza e Vita") is a French illustrated monthly science and technology magazine which began publication in 1913. The magazine is divided in three main sections, Science, Technology and Daily life. While the Science section reported on recent scientific progress, the Technology section would report on recent technical advances. The Daily life section was concerned with technology in daily life. They also covered amateur electronics, amateur astronomy, computer programming and more. Another important distinctive feature of Science & Vie was its willingness to tackle the issue of pseudoscience (such as astrology, homeopathy and even magic).
Important Added Info: Note that this cover was removed from a magazine. There is printing on the reverse side of the ad, but we don't picture it, because this magazine ad is linenbacked. Normally we would send linenbacked items rolled in a tube, but because this item is very small, and because rolling it might caused it to have creases, we intend to send it in a small flat package instead (however, if the purchaser of this item also purchases other linen items, and absolutely wants us to send it rolled with those other linens, we will do so).
