Mattey) starring Roy Scheider (as Chief Brody), Robert Shaw (as Quint), Richard Dreyfuss (as Hooper), Lorraine Gary, Murray Hamilton, Carl Gottlieb, Jeffrey Kramer, Susan Backlinie (as the girl who swims nude at the beginning, and soon greatly regrets it!), Jonathan Filley, Ted Grossman, Chris Rebello, Jay Mello, Lee Fierro, Jeffrey Voorhees, Craig Kingsbury, Dr. Robert Nevin, and Peter Benchley. Note that this movie had to be altered drastically when the mechanical shark (named "Bruce") did not work properly, and so the many scenes that showed it were altered so that you either didn't see it or could only barely see it. Of course, this greatly added to the suspense of the movie, and no doubt accidentally helped make it a giant hit!
