Frankenstein, the classic 1931 James Whale Universal monster horror thriller ("The monster that terrorized the world!"; "The Man Who Made a Monster"; "Warning! The monster is loose!"; "Based upon the Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley Story"; "Adapted by John L. Balderston from the play by Peggy Webling"; the first of the Universal "Frankenstein" movies, and regarded as one of the finer movies of any genre, in large part due to the marvelous acting of Boris Karloff, and the marvelous direction of James Whale!) starring Colin Clive (as Dr. Herbert V. Frankenstein), Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Edward Van Sloan, Fredric Kerr, Mae Clarke, Dwight Frye (extremely memorable as Fritz), and John Boles

Important Added Info: Note that only the cover of this ultra rare pressbook is present. Certainly, one would prefer to have the complete pressbook, but this one is ultra rare, and virtually never comes up for sale or auction. And certainly, this cover IS a "poster" from the 1931 first release (and actually, in some ways predates it), so one could frame this pressbook cover and have a 1931 Frankenstein "poster" on their wall! We have provided an image of the front and back of the pressbook cover (which we have never auctioned before).

Condition: good, WITH CUTS. Only the pressbook cover is present (see above). There is small paper loss in the top left corner of the cover that does not affect the image or background at all. The cover was folded across the middle and there are some faint smudges and creases scattered throughout the cover (see our image).
