An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Jumbo Lobby Card (LC; measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]) (Learn More) Morocco, the classic 1930 Josef von Sternberg (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) military French Foreign Legion doomed romance romantic love triangle adventure melodrama (Cooper is a man who ran off to join the French Foreign Legion to escape his past, and he meets French saloon singer Marlene Dietrich, and they fall madly in love, but their romance is ill-fated) starring Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Adolphe Menjou, Ullrich Haupt, Eve Southern, and Francis McDonald. Note that both Gary Cooper and Marlene Dietrich were at the height of their fame when they made this movie, and they worked wonderfully together! Also note that in this movie, Dietrich is sometimes dressed in men's clothes and has a passionate kiss with another woman! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this jumbo lobby card (with a wonderful image of Marlene Dietrich and Gary Cooper), and we had previously auctioned several different jumbo lobby cards, but only one had both stars on it, and they were both very small on that card! Condition: very good to fine. The card has some faint creases in the top center and in the middle of the right border, but they are mostly in the background areas, with just a few in both stars' hair. The card was once attached to a mat with a piece of tape on the back of the top border, but it does not affect the front. Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition, and it is not at all fragile, which is a big plus with jumbo lobby cards! Learn More about condition grades
