An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Special Movie Poster (measures 11" x 17") (Learn More) Pink Flamingos, the 1972 John Waters outrageously bizarre horrible-crime tasteless comedy ("An exercise in poor taste"; about battling people trying to see who 'the filthiest people alive' are, which features people who sell heroin to schoolchildren, kidnap and impregnate female hitchhikers, AND sell those babies to lesbian couples) starring Divine, David Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce, Mink Stole, and Danny Mills (billed as "introducing Danny Mills") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Irving Freeman Important Added Info: Note that this is the very first poster created for this classic movie! At that time New Line Cinema only made odd-sized posters for its releases, and NO regular one-sheets. So if you want an original "Pink Flamingos" poster, this poster is your only option! Note that when we have sold this poster in the past, we were e-mailed by the man who owned the movie theater that first showed this movie! He e-mailed, "I had the "WORLD PREMIERE" at my movie house 1972 in Provincetown, Mass (the last town on CAPE COD). We had John Waters & his stars commemmorate this event in wet cement. We used many copies of the poster offered here in our promotion of the film. We posted them up & down CAPE COD. We premiered all of JOHN WATERS Films as he was in our "CROWD" in the 1970s. One of my theaters was called "THE MOVIES" and the other was called the "CAPE CINEMA." Condition: good. There are creases and scuffs scattered throughout the poster and there are some pairs of staple holes around the edges. There are a few pieces of tape on the back around the edges of the poster but they do not appear to be there for any restoration purpose. Learn More about condition grades
