An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Breed of the West, the 1930 Alan James (billed as "Alvin J. Meitz") cowboy western ("An All-Talking Action Feature") starring Hal Taliaferro (billed as "Wally Wales"), Buzz Barton, Virginia Brown Faire, Robert Walker (billed as "Bob Walker"), Bud Osborne, Bobby Dunn (billed as "Bobbie Dunn"), Lafe McKee, and Edmund Cobb. Note that Buzz Barton had a successful career as a juvenile in westerns in the 1920s (billed as "The World's Greatest Juvenile Western Star"), but as he aged, parts became scarcer, and this was one of his last substantial roles. Also note that the Robert Walker credited above was NOT the Robert Walker who starred in the 1940s and 1950s, but a different Robert Walker who started making movies in 1913, and he appeared in an amazing 255 movies through 1953, a 40 year span, but most of those were westerns, and a lot of them were very minor roles, often uncredited.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned three lobby cards from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this one-sheet!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and a series of creases and tiny tears in the right half of the top fold and very minor wear in the rest of the folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
