An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 11.5"; contains 1 supplement and 8 stills) (Learn More) Lifeforce (released in Italy as "Space Vampires"), the 1985 Tobe Hooper science fiction (sci-fi) space-vampire horror thriller ("In the blink of an eye, the terror begins."; "From the Director of Poltergeist"; "The cinematic Sci-Fi event of the Eighties"; "Based on the novel 'The Space Vampires' by Colin Wilson"; "Screenplay by Dan O'Bannon and Don Jakoby") starring Steve Railsback, Peter Firth, Frank Finlay, Nicholas Ball, Mathilda May (billed as "Introducing Mathilda May"), and Patrick Stewart. Note that the Italian distributor of this movie very cleverly re-titled it "Space Vampires" and created four different Italian one-panel images (plus other different images on the one-sheet, locandina, and photobusta set), all with naked women in outrageous poses, and we imagine the movie did really well at the Italian box office! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that while the pressbook folder is in lesser condition, the stills are in generally nice condition! Condition: very good. This presskit is in very good condition! It was never used, which is unusual, since the purpose of presskits was for theaters to use the publicity material to publicize the movie, and the purpose of the stills was for the theaters to display them, or reproduce them. But the person who owned these presskits did not use them at all! HOWEVER, THIS PRESSKIT WAS "BOUNCED" AROUND OVER THE YEARS, WHICH CAUSED THE PRESSKIT COVERS TO BECOME SMUDGED AND SCUFFED. But the interior section(s) and the still(s) were not damaged in any way, and are in excellent condition. If you care about the condition of the presskit folder, then you probably shouldn't bid on this presskit. If you can live with its defects, you will be very happy with this presskit!
