A 1960 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical 7" x 9 3/4" [18 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) M (released in England in 1932 and in the U.S. in 1933), the classic 1931 Fritz Lang German psychotic-serial-child-murderer serial killer crime film noir thriller (about a killer of small children who is hunted by the police AND by "regular" criminals, who want him stopped because he is bad for their business, and when they catch him ahead of the police, they put him "on trial"; surely one of the handful of greatest movies ever made!) starring Peter Lorre (as Hans Beckert), Gustaf Grundgens, Otto Wernicke (as Inspector Karl Lohmann), Theo Lingen, Ellen Widmann, Inge Landgut, Fritz Gnass, Fritz Odemar, Theodor Loos (as Inspector Groeber), Paul Kemp, Franz Stein, Ernst Stahl-Nachbaur, and Georg John (as the blind panhandler). Note that this movie was remade in 1951 by Joseph Losey starring David Wayne. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still was found in a South American archive. We think it is likely that it is from a 1960 re-release (either in the U.S. or somewhere else), and that they used the exact image from a German still, but that this still is definitely not German. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7" x 9 3/4" [18 x 25 cm]. Condition: good to very good. The still appears to be slightly trimmed and there are some creases and scuffs scattered throughout. Learn More about condition grades
