An Original Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 5 1/4" x 7 1/2"; 300 pages) (Learn More)

Mr. Potter of Texas, the 1888 novel by Archibald Clavering Gunter, a fictional account of Sam Potter and his daughter Ida as they adventure around the world. Apparently, this was a sequel to the author's earlier book, "Mr. Barnes of New York". We wonder if he went on to write 40+ more books (depending on how many states were in the United States before he finished writing!).
Important Added Info: Note that this is the first edition from 1888. We have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information.

Note that on all hardcover books, the buyer must pay the actual cost of shipping (but if you solely buy books, or if you want the books shipped separately, they can be shipped in the U.S. only via "Media Mail", which is much less expensive than Priority Mail; unfortunately, there is no similar service outside the U.S. to Media Mail). So bear the above in mind before placing a bid on this book.

Condition: good to very good. There is a name plate and some writing on the first blank interior pages and some wear scattered to the covers and the rest of the book.
