Life... Liberty... and the Pursuit of Rosalind Russell!"; "Screen play by Charles Lederer"; "Based on a play by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur"; "She learned about men from him!"; interestingly, this was a re-make of the classic 1931 newspaper movie, "The Front Page", except this movie had the very clever idea of re-casting one of the male leads as a female, and since the character in the original was named "Hildy Johnson", they were even able to keep the same name!) starring Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell, Ralph Bellamy, Gene Lockhart, Porter Hall, Marion Martin, John Qualen, Roscoe Karns, Cliff Edwards, Frank Jenks, Regis Toomey, and Helen Mack NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a great trade ad taken out of a Kinematograph Weekly English trade magazine (we have a number of them in this set of auctions, and also other English trade ads with various amounts of pages). Studios would run these elaborate ads in issues of this magazine, and they often had images not found on any of the regular movie posters (either English or U.S.). This trade ad was removed from a 1940 issue of this magazine, and it will look incredible displayed on the new owner's wall (but of course, the new owner will need to choose which of the two ads to display, because they are printed back to back). Condition: very good. The ad was removed from a magazine (see above). Learn More about condition grades
