Finally, note that anyone who saw this movie remembers well the archery contest which comes down to Errol Flynn in disguise and Owain the Welshman, but few people know that Owain was played by the world's greatest archer, Howard Hill, and that he also did Flynn's bow and arrow stunts shown in the movie, meaning that he was competing against himself when he "split the arrow" in this most famous scene!

Important Added Info: Note that Warner Bros. apparently knew how wonderful this movie was prior to it being released, and so, they not only prepared spectacular posters, but they also had a great lobby card set! The two best scenes from the set are the close up of Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone as they are dueling, and the close up of Errol Flynn and Olivia De Havilland, and we are selling each of those cards on eBay this week (in two separate auctions)!
