An Unfolded French Advertising Poster (measures 23 3/4" x 39 1/2" [60 x 100 cm]) (Learn More)

Aristo, the circa 1930s French liquor advertising poster (with a tagline that translates to "The King of Anise") promoting the purchase of an alcoholic beverage. Note that Anise drinks are a family of alcoholic liquors flavored with the anise plant.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a patch of very faint discoloration due to exposure to moisture at right and some of the poster has a slightly rippled appearance at top. There is tiny p to the left of the top of the bottle, and there is some discoloration and paper loss at upper right in the blank border, with small areas of paper loss at the lower left blank border. The art is "all there" and still retains its color quite well, and after a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will look terrific (or it certainly could be displayed as is)!
