An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Robin Hood, the 1922 Allan Dwan silent medieval romantic fantasy adventure melodrama ("Story by Elton Thomas"; based on ancient English legends) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr. (in the title role as Robin Hood), Alan Hale Sr. (as Little John), Wallace Beery (as King Richard the Lion-Hearted), Sam De Grasse (as Prince John), Enid Bennett (as Lady Marian), William Lowery (as the Sheriff of Nottingham), Willard Louis (as Friar Tuck) and Bud Geary (as Will Scarlett). Of course, this movie was remade in 1938 with Errol Flynn in the lead role, and the movie was retitled to "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (and Alan Hale Sr. amazingly reprises his role of Little John, 16 years after the first time he played the role). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. We have provided both a high quality scan of the image and also a separate image of how the glass slide looks, but in that digital image, you can really just see the outline of the slide and defects (if any) around the edges. Condition: good to very good. The black tape is missing from all four borders, and someone put two pieces of clear tape on the top and bottom to hold the panes of glass together. Otherwise, the slide is in pretty good condition. Learn More about condition grades
