An Undated (probably 1960s; see below) Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Still (Learn More)

Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70.
Important Added Info: Note that this is surely a vintage still, but how old? We would say that it is surely NOT from the 1920s, and our bets guess is that it is from the 1960s, when the resurgence in interest in Buster Keaton movies began. But there is nothing printed on the front or back of the still, and someone wrote "1203 15" on the back in pencil, and that's not helpful. This is a very interesting image that we have not seen before, but PLEASE DO NOT BID ON IT UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THE UNCERTAINTY ABOUT WHEN IT IS FROM. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: good to very good. The still is rippled down the left and right. There is a repaired tear near the center of the bottom border.
