America."; "Story Kayo Hatta, Mari Hatta and Diane Mei Lin Mark"; produced by Lisa Onodera; about a 16 year-old Japanese girl who goes to Hawaii in 1918 for an arranged marriage, thinking she was going to marry a wealthy sugar cane farmer, but discovers she is to marry a farm laborer twice her age; apparently, this was quite common at the time) starring Youki Kudoh, Akira Takayama, Tamlyn Tomita, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Toshiro Mifune (billed as "Special Appearance by Toshrio Mifune"), and Yoko Sugi NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these nine posters have all been personally autographed (signed) by producer Lisa Onodera (who personalized each to a different person!). Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good to fine.
