An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Why Bring That Up?, the 1929 George Abbott New York City Broadway vaudeville stage acting romantic comedy ("HEAR them on the screen funier than ever") starring "The Two Black Crows" (George Moran and Charles Mack), Evelyn Brent, Harry Green, Bert Swor, and Freeman Wood. Note that George Moran and Charles Mack were a vaudeville comedy team who appeared together in blackface under the billing of "The Two Black Crows" and as "Moran and Mack". They made six movies together between 1927 and 1933. Charles Mack died in a road accident in the beginning of 1934, and Moran only appeared in minor roles in four more movies, two of them for W.C. Fields. If anyone knows more about this comedy team, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has the letters "TRR". One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that the still (and many others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of the stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us! Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
