An Autographed 4" x 5 1/4" [10 x 13 cm] Album Page (Learn More) Andy Devine was a supporting actor from the 1920s to the 1970s. He was "Cookie" to Roy Rogers in ten movies, and also "Jingles" to Guy Madison's Wild Bill Hickok in a popular radio and TV series, and probably his best remembered movie role was in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. He not only appeared in over 400 movies, but he also hosted a children's show called "Andy's Gang", which has cult status and which also featured Froggy the Magic Gremlin! He passed away in 1977 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: This album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Andy Devine! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor is a longtime collector and dealer. In the 1970s and 1980s, he wrote to stars and asked for autographed photos and index cards, and he also sometimes purchased signed items from other dealers. He does not have a certificate of authenticity for this item, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
