What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster was never folded and had darkened around the edges and had a diagonal crease in the top right corner. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but unfortunately, after it was backed, it was handled very roughly, and there are three horizontal creases across the top of the poster, and one across the middle of the poster (both in the poster and in the linen), and they have caused white crack lines across the image in those areas. In addition, the poster does not lay flat due to the creases. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
