What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had very minor wear on the folds. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired a crease in the upper left, extending into the "OUVER", which has also caused partial tears in those letters. Any talented restorer could easily re-glue those tears without re-backing the poster, and afterwards, the poster will display wonderfully!
