'Oh, no Mrs. Robinson. I think you're the most attractive of all my parents' friends.'"; "This is Benjamin. He's a little worried about his future."; "'Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me...aren't you?'"; "Screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry"; "Songs by Paul Simon performed by Simon and Garfunkel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a college graduate who becomes involved with the wife of his father's business partner and then romances her daughter) starring Anne Bancroft (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as Mrs. Robinson), Dustin Hoffman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Benjamin Braddock), Katharine Ross (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Elaine Robinson), William Daniels (as Mr. Braddock), Murray Hamilton (as Mr. Robinson), Elizabeth Wilson (as Mrs. Braddock), Buck Henry (who wrote the screenplay, as the "Room Clerk"), Brian Avery (as Carl), Norman Fell (as Mr. McCleery), and a young Richard Dreyfuss (in a bit part, but he does have two lines!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this poster before. It is a heavy stock poster that was used to promote this movie's opening solely in two New York City theaters on December 21, 1967, so it would have been distributed before that. It is surely a "wilding" poster, but most New York City wilding posters at this time measured either 45" x 60" or 29" x 45", and were printed on thin stock, while this poster is a completely different size and on a heavier stock. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good. The poster was printed on a heavy board. It has diagonal areas in the bottom corners, but we think that is how the poster was created. There is faint brown staining scattered over the middle of the image. It appears to be on the surface of the glossy coating and we hope that a restorer can remove it chemically, but we can't guarantee that. The poster could certainly still be displayed as it is, or restoration can be performed. Learn More about condition grades
