An Original Vintage Theatrical English Movie Pressbook (English pb; measures 10" x 15" [25 x 38 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More)

The Last of the Duanes, the 1930 Alfred L. Werker cowboy western ("Zane Grey's Greatest Movietone Thriller!"; "Zane Grey's great outdoor Fox Movietone romance"; "Zane Grey's Thrill of hoof, spur and gun"; based on the novel by Zane Grey; a complicated story about a gunslinger who goes to the small western town where his sheriff father was murdered, wanting to avenge his father's death, but he ends up framed for murder himself) starring George O'Brien (in the title role as Buck Duane), Lucile Browne, Myrna Loy, Walter McGrail, James Bradbury Jr, and Nat Pendleton. Note that this popular novel was first made as a silent movie in 1919 with William Farnum, and was remade in 1924 with Tom Mix in the lead role. This was the first sound version, and it was remade again in 1941 with George Montgomery!

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this English pressbook! Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this English pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this English pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Condition: very good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut and is in pretty nice condition!
