An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 9 1/4" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 61 pages) (Learn More)

20th Century-Fox: 60 at 20th, the 1959 campaign book featuring information on 60 actors that worked with 20th Century Fox studios at that time. Each of those stars is given a full page with a nice black & white portrait, and their name and some of their best films listed under their name. The highlight of the book is the inclusion of Marilyn Monroe (see our image). What is great is that under the list of her films is stamped "The Billionaire", which was the working title for "Let's Make Love", which came out in 1960! Also of interest is the inclusion of an extra page loose at the beginning of the book. It is for Elana Eden, who had just been cast in the title role in "The Story of Ruth". Because that extra page says "co-starring Stephen Boyd", we know that this book must have been printed in late 1959, because Elana Eden was cast in this movie in October, and by December, Stephen Boyd had been replaced by Stuart Whitman, so this book surely was published in late October or November or 1959!

Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this book before!

Note: We have 11 images of the campaign books in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 11 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 1.

Condition: good. There are stains on both covers. The interior pages are lightly rippled in the outer edge, but they are not stained, and they are not stuck together (see our images).
