An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Forgotten Babies, 1933 Robert F. McGowan Our Gang family comedy short starring Farina, Dickie Moore, Jackie Cooper, Mary Kornman, Joe Cobb, Jack Condon, George 'Spanky' McFarland, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, Mickey Daniels, Dorothy DeBorba, Matthew 'Stymie' Beard, Bobbie 'Cotton' Beard, Harry Bernard, Tommy Bond, John 'Uh huh' Collum and Bobby 'Wheezer' Hutchins NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that one never sees lobby cards from the early Spanky "Our Gang" movies! A fair number of cards have surfaced from the 1920s "Our Gang" movies, and a fair amount from the late 1930s and early 1940s, but the early 1930s lobby cards are remarkably scarce! Not only is this card from one of Spanky's earliest movies, but it has two excellent images of him, as well as an image of Bobbie "Cotton" Beard, Stymie's brother! Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the bottom blank corners. There are creases, smudges, and a few small tears around the edges of the card. There is a crease in the background area at the far right of the card in the second step. There is a very faint line of water staining running down the card in-between the two little kids, but I only saw it after tilting the card to the light and staring at that area! Someone used the back of the card to draw blueprints for what appears to be a model airplane, but it is very light pencil writing, and does not affect the front. The card is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are almost entirely in the borders, and would barely show if the card were framed, or a talented restorer could repair them without needing to do much touch up of any kind in the image or title area.
