Note that Otis Skinner first played this role on Broadway in 1911, and recreated it in a sound musical version in 1930, but that film is lost. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when this movie was first released, MGM hired a cartoonist to create an ad for the movie in comic strip form, and it ran in the Sunday comic pages of newspapers. This strip was removed from such a Sunday comic section.
