The House of Fear, the 1945 Roy William Neill Universal horror detective crime mystery thriller ("Horror stalking its halls!"; "Based on the 'The Adventure of the Five Orange Pips' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle") starring Basil Rathbone (as Sherlock Holmes), Nigel Bruce (as Doctor Watson), Aubrey Mather, Gavin Muir, Dennis Hoey, Paul Cavanagh, Holmes Herbert, Sally Shepherd, and Harry Cording

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never machine folded but it was hand folded once in each direction, and there are creases in both those areas. There are pinholes, smudges, stains, and small tears around the edges, with many creases and scuffs scattered throughout the poster, including some creases in the stars' faces. Someone put tape on the back of the tears around the edges and they put a piece of white tape on the back of the center of the poster, for reinforcement. Certainly, I could imagine many collectors displaying this poster as it is, but it is also true that many of the defects are the sort that respond well to restoration, so whether it is restored or not, I think the new owner will be happy to have this poster in their collection, but please look closely at our super-sized image to see exactly what its defects are.
