Important Added Info: Note that French posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in France, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare French poster from 1947, which we have never auctioned before.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some small tears in small parts of the borders and folds. It has some creases and tiny faint stains scattered throughout. It definitely should be professionally backed, but once it is, it will display wonderfully! This is the sort of poster that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the faint stains can be removed through chemical means, after which the poster will look fantastic, and it will likely require little paint restoration in the image.
