Bridgestone is a multinational corporation founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi in Fukuoka, Japan. The name Bridgestone comes from Ishibashi, meaning "stone bridge" in Japanese. As of 2017, the company is the largest manufacturer of tires in the world and has over 141 production facilities in 24 countries.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a poster that was printed in Japan in 1949 after the Bridgestone company started selling bicycle tires in Japan. The writing on the poster is in English, and it has "PRINTED IN JAPAN" in English in the bottom right corner.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has a thin metal strip attached to the top and bottom (we have seen many other Japanese posters that are like this, so we know that it was commonly done in Japan at this time). There is a 2" tear near the middle of the left border and some smudges and stains around the edges, with a few other small tears and some creases.
