An Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Pola Negri was a Polish actress from the 1910s to the 1960s. She had been a major star in the 1920s, but when her career began winding down in the late 1930s, she went to Europe and made five movies (including the memorable "Mazurka", which was a remake of "Millie", which was later remade as "Confession") before basically retiring. Some of her other movies include: Barbed Wire, The Love Goddesses, Shadows of Paris, Bella Donna, and Hi Diddle Diddle. She passed away in 1987 at the age of 90. Condition: good to very good. There are tiny tears, tiny areas of paper loss, and some brown stains around the edges of the still, and there are two pieces of clear tape on the back of the left border, repairing tiny tears.
