Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

Three Sons, the 1939 Jack Hively family relationship department store business inheritance melodrama ("Selected through the Second Jesse L. Lasky's 'Gateway to Hollywood' Talent Search"; about the elderly owner of a department store who has three sons, but he can't get any of them to show any interest in taking over the family business) starring Edward Ellis, William Gargan, Kent Taylor, J. Edward Bromberg, Katharine Alexander, Virginia Vale, Robert Stanton and Barbara Pepper. Note that the "Jesse L. Lasky's 'Gateway to Hollywood' Talent Search" was first used to help pick the cast of the movie "Career" from RKO the same year, but apparently, the experiment was abandoned after these two films.

Condition: good to very good. There is staining throughout to poster but it is mostly only noticeable in the bottom blank white area and in the yellow title characters. There are two 1" to 1 1/2" tears in the man at right's forehead. There is a jagged 5" tear at
