Detmolder Grabbe Tage 1937 (literally translates to "Detmold Grabbe Days 1937"), the 1937 German poster promoting a stage play festival which was held in Detmold, Germany from October 29th to the 31st, during the time when the Nazis were fully in control in Germany. Joseph Goebbels, who was the Nazi Minister of Propaganda under Adolf Hitler at this time, was the patron of the event (and he is prominently billed on the poster), and these plays that were held in Detmold, Germany, on these days were authored by German dramatist Christian Dietrich Grabbe. Some of the plays included: Cinderella, Don Juan, Faust, and Napoleon or the Hundred Days

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is printed with a gold metallic ink that is difficult to photograph, but which is quite striking in person! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. There is scuffing in the gold metallic areas. There is a tear between the "T" and "O" of "OKTOBER", and a tear at the bottom of the "E" below the first "O" of "OKTOBER".
